>I was looking forward to today’s 25 mile time trial. I’ve been going well in training and the weather has meant fast times around the country this weekend. However… I just wasn’t up for it. It’s the first time I’ve ridden the Amersham road course and it needs commitment, particularly out to the turn. I got to halfway in just over 35 minutes (not good). The return is predominately downhill so I was able to clock a 1:6:30 at the finish (10th place out of 29).
Next weekend I’m back on the fast H25/2 (where I did a 1:3:42 last week) and I would like to be in form. It’s a very early start though (7:39am), so I hope I can engage my race head at that time.
