I have begun my formal training to become a cycling coach. Last weekend I spent two days at Cranfield University and had a great time. The lectures were interesting and the practical sessions (on beginner and intermediate techniques) were fascinating. Even experienced cyclists can have holes in their knowledge of how to ride a bike. I found out that I get onto the bike incorrectly – this before even turning a pedal. I now have eight weeks of study and work experience before the final practical exam (and submission of portfolio) towards the end of January.
Not much writing going on, so a chance to catch up on some script reading and reporting.
